New Updated Deadlines for All Business Entities
As you know, all Florida business entities are responsible for filing Annual Reports regardless of whether or not you received a notice by email. Please note that Pursuant to Executive Order No. 20-52 and Department of State Emergency Order 2020-01 signed March 27, 2020, the filing deadlines for business entities to file annual reports have been extended to June 30, 2020.
Any profit corporation, limited liability company, limited partnership or limited liability limited partnership annual report filing will have until 12:01 am Eastern Time on July 1, 2020, before a $400 late fee is assessed. Nonprofit corporations are not subject to the late fee.
The Annual Reports are required to be completed online at www.sunbiz.org; the website remains operational at this time.
Please be advised that while our office may handle various corporate matters for you, our clients, we do not routinely file the annual reports for your business entities unless requested to do so. This is simply a courtesy reminder to our valued clients and friends.
